About this Course

Natasha Gillis spent almost 4 years working as a caseworker with Children's Services in Calgary, Alberta. During this time, she worked to support families in staying together and creating strong safety plans to ensure children remained safe in their parental homes. Children's Services is complex and involves multiple legal legislations. The presentation she has put together for our community gives participants a foundational knowledge of what constitutes child protection concerns, the legislation, and the process once a report is made to Children's Services.
