Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is a two-day interactive workshop in suicide first aid. ASIST teaches participants to recognize when someone may have thoughts of suicide and work with them to create a plan that will support their immediate safety. No formal training required. This workshop is not recommended for people who have had a recent suicide loss. To continue to offer in-person programming and ensure the safety of participants we have made the decision to participate in the Restriction Exemption Program. All adults (18+) will be required to provide government issued ID and one of the following: 1.Proof of vaccination - partial vaccination (one dose) will be accepted to October 25. Full vaccination (two doses) is required after October 25. 2.Proof of a privately-paid negative PCR or rapid test within 72 hours of service (tests from AHS or Alberta Precision Laboratories not allowed). 3.Official documentation of a medical exemption
